The Miami community has been anticipating the moment when it can finally enjoy the Ludlam Trail. That day will come this Saturday as Ludlam Days continues with its Fall Fest celebration!
For the first time, the Ludlam Corridor will gain temporary public access to allow families and friends to get their first taste of what the Ludlam Trail will eventually become, a world class linear park and trail! Friends of the Ludlam Trail and Florida East Coast Industries are partnering for for Fall Fest and would love to see you and your neighbors join them at A.D. Barnes Park from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Participants can expect a DJ, food trucks, games, and even a pumpkin patch! The highlight of the event will of course be the group fat-tire ride starting at AD Barnes and heading south to Dadeland and back. This will be a slow leisure ride, and will NOT be appropriate for road bikes. The purpose of this event is raise awareness about the trail and demonstrate how the trail can serve as a much needed commuting/recreational amenity helping to improve the quality of life for thousands of Miami residents.
Please know that this event is providing temporary access to the corridor only. The corridor remains private property and will be closed after the event. More public events will be scheduled in the future. Stay tuned to LudlamTrail.org for more information.
