Free the Commodore Trail

Blocking the trail

Cyclist veers into motor lane as driver pauses on the Commodore Trail in Coconut Grove.

The Commodore Trail is a beautiful way to bicycle through Coconut Grove, if you can get around the parked cars and trucks and frequent other obstructions. It’s surprising, in a neighborhood with so much cycling, that path users suffer this disrespect.  Grove resident Liam Crotty decided to do something about it, using his photo talents to document the many ways path users are put upon. Check it out, won’t you?  And share your Commodore Trail concerns here.  This may be the beginning of a solution.
