We’re rolling out a virtual red carpet for cyclists, skaters, and walkers on Sunday, Oct. 23 as Coral Gables holds its first Gables Bike Day along Miracle Mile and downtown Ponce de Leon boulevard. Come for the food, the fun, the chance to stretch your legs with informative bike rides to some of the sights in Coral Gables. The University of Miami’s BikeSafe team is organizing a safety rodeo for the kids, and bands will be playing through the afternoon at Ponce Circle Park (click for map).
Attached below, there’s a letter-size poster you can print out to help tell family, friends, schoolmates and coworkers about this family-friendly day of fun. There you’ll see 21 of the public-spirited businesses and organizations that are helping the Coral Gables Rotary Club and Green Mobility Network put on this event. You can be a sponsor, too, by writing Robert Ruano, and you can volunteer to help on the 23rd by visiting our page at Volunteer Match.
