I counted 64 cyclists taking part in our tour of the international villages of Coral Gables yesterday. They included half a dozen children, an encouraging sight. Alejandro Silva, center, in white cap, did a fine job pinch-hitting as expert narrator, and ride leader Peter Schuetz, left, in orange, got us safely back to our starting point a few minutes ahead of schedule.
Thanks to the Miami chapter of the American Institute of Architects for inviting us to create the tour and helping to publicize it. If you’d care to revisit the villages, or didn’t get to take yesterday’s ride, here’s a Bikely map that Peter created to help you find your way. Also, Rydel posted some nice photos at Miami Bike Scene.
